Own a cab or run a fleet? Here is how the HurryUp partner and driver apps work, what a wallet recharge costs, and what you get for each enquiry. Read it once, and you will know how HurryUp Cabs works for partners and drivers before you register.
Why HurryUp Is Different
No commission on your fare. When a booking is confirmed, the full fare goes to you.
You pay for enquiries, not a monthly plan. You recharge your wallet and pay ₹50 for each enquiry.
You agree on the fare with the customer. Fares are not fixed. You speak to the customer and settle on a price.
A refund if the customer doesn’t answer. If the customer does not pick up your call, the enquiry charge is refunded.
Built for fleet owners too. The partner app lets you add vehicles and drivers and assign each driver to a vehicle.
A focus on outstation and large bookings. These are the trips we put the most effort into.
Help with registration. Our support team can help you sign up if you get stuck.

If you own one car and drive it yourself, choose the driver app. If you own several vehicles or have drivers working for you, choose the partner app.
Step 1: Choose your app. Pick the partner app or the driver app from the table above.
Step 2: Register. Sign up in the app and add your details. If you need help, call or write to our support team.
Step 3: Add your vehicles and drivers (partners only). Add each vehicle, add your drivers, and assign a driver to each vehicle.
Step 4: Recharge your wallet. For cabs, the recharge is ₹1,000. Other vehicle types have different amounts, so please contact customer care.
Step 5: Buy enquiries. Each Cab enquiry costs ₹50. A ₹1,000 recharge gives you about 20 enquiries.
Step 6: Call the customer. You receive the customer’s trip details. Call them, talk through the trip, and agree on a fare.
Step 7: Complete the trip. If the customer confirms, you take the trip and the fare goes to you.
What You Need to Register
Keep these ready before you start:
Driving licence (for the driver)
Vehicle registration certificate (RC)
Valid insurance
Commercial permit and fitness certificate, where they apply
Identity proof and a clear photo
Photos of the vehicle
If something is missing or the app doesn’t accept a document, contact support.
How Earning Works with HurryUp
Your cost: ₹50 for each enquiry you buy for cab booking.
Your earning: the fare of every booking you confirm.
What decides the result: how quickly you call, the fare you quote, and how you speak to the customer.
An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. A ₹1,000 recharge gives you about 20 enquiries, not 20 bookings. You still have to talk to the customer and win the trip.
How to Handle an Enquiry
You have paid for the enquiry, so use it well. Call as soon as you can, while the customer is still looking for a ride. Before you quote a fare, confirm:
Pickup point and drop point
Date and time of travel
One-way, round trip or multi-day
Number of passengers and amount of luggage
Any stops on the way
The vehicle type the customer wants
Say your name and that you are calling from HurryUp. Keep the call short and clear. If the customer asks you to call back, note the time and do it.
How to Quote an Outstation Fare
Fares on HurryUp are not fixed. You and the customer agree on a price, and there is a base amount that drivers work from. Before you quote, think about:
Total distance, including a return leg if the car has to come back empty
One-way or round trip
Tolls and parking
State border taxes, where they apply
Driver allowance and night halt
Waiting time or extra stops
Vehicle type: hatchback, sedan, SUV, Innova Crysta or Tempo Traveller
Say clearly what the fare includes and what it does not. Most disputes are about tolls and allowances that were never mentioned.
Managing a Fleet with the Partner App
Say you own three cars: a sedan, an SUV and an Innova Crysta.
Add all three vehicles, then add your drivers.
Assign one driver to each vehicle, so you know who is responsible for which car.
When an enquiry for a bigger group arrives, you can match it to the Innova. A solo traveller can go in the sedan.
Keep your vehicle documents up to date, so a car is not off the road because of an expired paper.
Three habits help: keep one person responsible for answering enquiries, don’t buy more enquiries than your fleet can handle, and check which vehicles are free before you call back.
What Customers Expect from Drivers
Customers pay an advance to confirm their booking. They expect you to do your part:
On-time pickup, or a call if you are running late
A clean and working vehicle
A clear fare, with no surprises on the road
Polite behaviour, especially with families and elderly passengers
Route knowledge, or willingness to use navigation
Honest communication if plans change
Mistakes That Waste Enquiries
Not answering the customer’s call-back
Quoting a fare without asking about the trip
Quoting very high with no explanation
Calling late, when the customer has already booked elsewhere
Buying enquiries faster than you can handle them
Not reading the trip details, which leads to the wrong vehicle for the group size

From Char Dham routes to South India temple circuits, she has researched and written about destinations across the country — not from a desk alone, but through conversations with drivers, travelers, and locals who know these roads best.
She believes good travel writing is about helping real people make real decisions — which cab to take, which route to avoid, what to expect when you finally arrive.
