Who Is the CEO of Jewar Airport?

Noida International Airport CEO is Christoph Schnellmann, who recently met CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow and presented the aerodrome licence issued by the Centre for the airport. Schnellmann comes from Zurich Airport International AG, the Swiss operator that won the concession to build and run Jewar airport.

When Will Jewar Airport Start Flights?

The March 28, 2026 date marks the inauguration, not necessarily the start of full commercial operations. Commercial flight operations are expected to begin in phases after the launch, rather than immediately at full scale. 

Following the aerodrome licence, the airport operator will coordinate with airlines to finalise schedules, ground operations, and passenger services. Airlines will also align aircraft deployment, slot allocation, and ticketing systems before launching services.
